Step by step

From the arrivals door to your market district

Each step carries a live route map (road distance and time from a routing service — not a timed ride; our own timings are added after the trip). Pick your district on the Route Planner if you are not going to District 2.

At the airport

Where the real taxis are

  • Follow the signs to the official taxi rank outside arrivals. Drivers who approach you inside the terminal are not the ones to use.
  • Confirm the meter is on (打表, dǎbiǎo) as you pull away.
  • Show the destination card; say the district number if you know it.
  • Keep small notes; drivers may not have change for large bills.

FAQ

Questions visitors ask

How much is a taxi from Yiwu airport to the market?

Public listings put it at roughly ¥50 and 30 minutes for about 12.6 km; our own metered fare, with the date, replaces that figure after the first ride. If a driver quotes far above it, use Didi, which shows the price before you book.

Is there an airport bus in Yiwu?

Bus 102 runs from the airport (Qingxi) to the International Trade City every 15–20 minutes according to public listings, and visitor posts mention a free airport shuttle with a posted timetable; the stop, route and fare are being checked on the ground. From Hangzhou Xiaoshan airport a coach runs to the Yiwu market bus centre for ¥72 in about two hours.

How far is Yiwu airport from the International Trade City?

A short ride — distance and typical travel time are recorded on an actual trip and shown above.

What is Yiwu airport code?

YIW. Yiwu Airport has domestic flights and some international routes; many visitors fly to Shanghai or Hangzhou and take the high-speed train (see How to get to Yiwu).
