Travel to Yiwu

Plan your Yiwu visit

3min read
In one sentence

Explore Yiwu’s villages, parks, food streets and hills, then add old towns, film studios or mountain scenery nearby. Compare real places, save a shortlist and build a visit around your time.

Choose destinations and build your daily plan

Your travel planning library

Before booking a guide, driver or tour, use the supplier quote checklist to confirm the itinerary and inclusions.

Choose the shape of your visit

Your visitA suggested sequenceStart here
A short leisure stayChoose a market visit, an old-town walk and an evening food stop. Allow time for arrival and departure.Things to do
Business with time to exploreKeep sourcing meetings in their own blocks. Use a free afternoon for Fotang or another day for Hengdian.Market visitor guide
A family visitPlan fewer stops, a rest break and an easy return to your hotel. Check each attraction’s current facilities before booking.Compare day trips
A halal-friendly visitChoose a hotel area, review restaurant evidence and plan access to prayer facilities.Halal food guide

These are planning suggestions, not bookable packages. The right sequence depends on your arrival time, group, travel pace and the current opening schedule.

A flexible three-day planning framework

BlockPlanChange it when
Arrival dayCheck in, orient yourself around the hotel and choose a nearby food stop. Keep this day light. If arrival is late, leave exploration for the following day.
Full day in YiwuChoose one main purpose: a market visitor day or sourcing meetings. Add a local evening stop if there is time.If supplier meetings run late, move sightseeing to another block.
Another full dayChoose either Fotang and a relaxed local day, or a dedicated Hengdian outing. Check current transport and attraction schedules first. If you are leaving this day, stay close to your departure point and omit the distant outing.

Count full usable days, not hotel nights. For each day, write down the one essential stop, a meal, a rest break and the latest return you can accept. Put optional stops after those essentials. This is a suggested planning method; it is not a fixed route, timed itinerary or tour quotation.

Connect Yiwu with its surroundings

Stay in Yiwu

Use the International Trade City guide to plan a market visit. For another part of town, read about Fotang Ancient Town. Keep the night market guide for an evening when you have time to explore.

Add a separate day out

Read the Yiwu to Hengdian guide before adding film studios to your itinerary. Compare it with other day trips rather than fitting several distant stops into one day.

HK Express’s Yiwu introduction features Fotang, local night markets and Hengdian as visitor attractions. Its launch announcement is historical; use current booking tools for flights, fares and timetables. Read the airline’s destination introduction.

Settle the practical details before booking

  1. Arrival: choose your entry city and onward route with the arrival guide.
  2. Hotel area: compare where to stay against your actual daily destinations.
  3. Food: browse the restaurant directory; halal labels describe the evidence available, not a guarantee for every dish.
  4. Transport: use the taxi guide and confirm the provider’s quote for any arranged transfer.
  5. Preparation: keep the first visit checklist handy for payments and other arrival tasks.

If a travel provider offers a package, ask who operates it, which stops and tickets are included, what happens if plans change and where payment goes. Confirm these details in writing.

Tell us about your visit

Send your dates, group size, interests and language. Send the enquiry to Justin for a reply; any arranged service needs separate confirmation before you rely on it.

Share dates, group size, interests and an approximate travel budget if you have one. Do not include passport numbers.

Send your request to Justin’s inbox. This does not reserve a tour or medical appointment. Availability, service scope and any fees must be confirmed separately; an introduction to another provider is discussed with you first. If submission is unavailable, you can use WhatsApp instead.

For travel partners

Introduce your company, destinations, languages, reception capabilities and official contact channel. Use the partner option in the enquiry form. We agree the scope and customer introduction process before referring a visitor.

A different reason for travel?

If your main purpose is healthcare, start with the medical travel preparation guide so hospital arrangements lead the planning.

FAQ

Questions visitors ask

Is this a ready-to-book tour?

No. This is an itinerary planning entrance. An enquiry does not create a booking. Confirm the actual operator, availability, inclusions, price and cancellation terms before paying.

Can I combine sourcing and sightseeing?

Yes, as a planning approach. Keep sourcing meetings separate from leisure time, and check transport and opening schedules for each day.

Where should I start for halal food?

Use the halal food guide and check the source evidence on each listing. Confirm your specific requirements with the restaurant before ordering.

Spotted a change (price, closure, halal status)? Report it — a local goes to check.
